I am not getting any responses to my emails

I've sent emails to the town assessor, one of the supervisors, some real estate agents, estate sellers and the man that came to look at my house. I am not getting any replies. I sent a test message from the account I usually use to another one I have and it went through. Makes me feel as if I am being deliberately ignored.

Probably one big issue regarding why I am not selling the big antiques is that many people just don't have money to spend on what is generally considered "luxury" items. With costs of everything skyrocketing, they need their money for necssities. I just hit the antiques market at the worst possible time.

Private citizens ("real estate agents, estate sellers") can respond or not as they see fit. But if you can't get any response from your local authorities, your next call should be to an attorney.

Once you get everything you need to the new house, leave the house semi-staged with the big stuff. If the house sells quickly, you can make decisions then. Sometimes it’s good to have to make decisions while under pressure.

I wouldn’t pay an attorney for advice on why your assessor isn’t getting back to you via e-mail. Have you tried calling?

What did I say on the other thread? ;) Don't always be suspicious of people and their motives. You sent emails, yes, but the recipients aren't necessarily sitting in front of their computers just waiting for an email (from any particular person/business) so that they can respond immediately.

Relax.

lol - My SO has 3,872 unread emails in her yahoo in box, and that doesn't count what's in the spam folder. Sending an email does not mean that you will get a response.
