First, it's extremely important that you calm down. Easy for me to say, I know, but getting stressed and staying upset is raising your blood pressure and glucose, putting stress on your heart, increasing your gastric acids, and it slows healing. So do whatever works for you to calm yourself a few notches, or your not going to get better anytime soon.
Then talk to someone about getting an aid who is fluent in English. Call the aid's agency or your doctor's office, and while you're at it, ask if you've been assigned a social worker. It's the social worker's job to make sure your being properly cared for. And they're supposed to do a home visit, I think within a week after you get home. You can tell her about the language problem then.
If you can't call yourself, ask your son to call on your behalf, but ask calmly! And keep it short, Peps! Just tell him you need an aid who's speaks and understands English, and to call whoever is in charge of that.
Meanwhile, the aid understands No and Stop and There and This and other simple words. In fact, I'll bet your fanny she speaks better English than she lets on, and she's just fecking with you; reason enough to get her replaced.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that... don't confront her and get all stressed out and hot over it, just get her replaced and be satisfied she'll miss out on the pay. Maybe even get fired.
But first and foremost, you need to chill, so you don't have a stroke and wind up in a nursing home for the rest of your life.
