I can't hear my TV

It finally dawned on me that I have the most trouble hearing the TV when the air conditioner is on. It's a big wall unit, and it just overpowers the TV sound, even with external speakers.

I changed my cable tv box settings to enable Closed Captioning (CC) just now. It worked for a minute while the program was playing. I don't see any "CC" during the commercials and promos. Heck I can do without hearing the voices on commercials! Thanks for your support, again.

I recently bought a pair of Bluetooth headphones and am using them now to watch "Thor," one of my favorite movies. I have the bluetooth headphones paired with the 2nd generation Amazon FireTV.

I'm still working out the details. There's an all-in-one control that I can't really see when the headphones are on. I try increasing the volume and end up fast forwarding the video instead. I need to take out my extra magnifying glass to read the tiny print in the instructions. I'm sure there's a special "movement" to get the proper results.
