I completed my bowel cancer screening test today

The Australian Government sends every person over the age of 50 a free screening test every 2 years.
This is the first one I have completed since turning 50. Only 11 years overdue.
I received the kits but never completed the tests.

yes we get those tests sent to use here too.. apparently they don't send them once you get over 70..

They are sent out automatically up to age 74 holly (that's when I last had mine) but after that you can still request a free kit every two years by phoning the bowel cancer screening helpline.

You have to be aggressive and consistent with your health care. It makes all the difference. Don't postpone or make excuses. 11 years is a big gap. Hope all's well.
