I Find Carbonated Drinks Appealing. Anyone Else?

I'm not crazy about carbonation. I don't drink much soda. Although I do drink a little seltzer on occasion and once in a while, I like ginger beer in a Moscow Mule. If I'm out and don't feel like having an alcoholic drink, I'll order a ginger ale. Mostly, I drink water.

Plain water works best for me everyday ... usually right out of the bottle.

I know! So boring!
No, not boring...healthy! (a gallon is a lot though!) I'm the same, water all day. Sometimes, though, I get so tired of just water, water, water, I HAVE to have something with some taste! Enter diet Pepsi. I buy those itty bitty 5 ounce cans of diet Pepsi and one of those satisfies my craving.
 
Water, water, water. It's so freaking hot today that I need something icy with a kick. Listen, can ya hear it? 🤔 It's a frozen margarita calling my name! Would anyone care to join me? 😊

Not sure why and it's not just sugar. I'm buying Bubly (zero calorie) and Spindrift Seltzer (very few calories) after the Coca-Cola company had the nerve to discontinue Hansens Cane Soda.

I know they are not the best for you. I used to drink maybe two a week but I'm drinking more lately. Like one a day. Anyone else and what do you like the best?
I have been addicted to diet soda my entire life.........There are some foods I do not enjoy without a coke... like popcorn. I think a lot of the association is from past 'good time' memories..hamburgers and fries and a coke...etc...
 
I drink a lot of water.. probably 2 litres a day... but when it's hot, I like a cold fizzy drink. I have one in front of me now...
me too. I love water but enjoy the diet cokes, and diet gingerale often. I actually started really enjoying water when I went to WW..the habit fortunately lasted
 
I love San Pellegrino's blood orange flavour, but I don't stock it up because I know I would lose control and have too many.

Throughout the day, I drink cold tap water, and a diet Pepsi or diet Coke if I need some fizz.
 
I almost never drink sodas or anything carbonated, except....on a hot summer day if I have spent a few hours riding my bicycle I crave some diet Pepsi. I like how it washes the phelmy feeling out of my throat, but only those first few swallows, I won't even finish one of those little bottles, a few swallows and I'm done.
