To save money, I decided I'd send them out as a postcard. Less postage, and zero cost for an envelope. Of course when the actual invitation goes out, there will be an envelope for the invite and an RSVP card and an envelope for that, as well. And I really want pretty invites, so the more I save on the Save The Dates, the more money will be left in the budget for an attractive Invitation.
They're ready for me to order. I have plenty of time (typically they go out 4 - 6 months before the wedding) so I'm waiting for the site to run one of their 50% off sales, which they do every month or two.
