I found an earring

I was vacuuming and this came out from under a baseboard. I contacted the previous homeowner to ask if she wanted it, but she hasn't responded yet.

I lost one down the shower drain. Because of the septic all of my gray water drains onto the ground. I keep checking to see if it has come through, but so far, no luck. It was lightweight gold but still may be heavy enough it will never come out of there.

Update. After two and a half years the earring made it all the way through the gray water drain and ended up in my back yard today. I am ecstatic! I had given up on ever seeing it again.
