Disfunctional characters rile me to no end. Watching stupid never gets old but the narrative of stupid gets my goat. Character behavior, greediness, power-hungry, narcisictic personality, the weak with a head on for superiority and fake praise. The losers who acquire attention through no effort of their own.

Authority figures who discount the possibility of a single solution over their own.
 

That is why I only watch murder mysteries on PBS or the Knowledge Network because the evil people or the morons usually get arrested or there is retribution against the evil ones or the morons. I can't watch anything else on TV, oh but I do like Resident Alien and also any of the Turner Classic Movies.

Look at the bright side, those evoke some kind of emotion. Imagine watching something that didn't.
 
I. Immerse myself in films as a third party observer, so screen characters do not know I am there.
