I have received the following Email and I am SOOO Excited!!!! OK, there are a number of grammatical errors I noticed but, hey, for $ 900,000.00 I'll overlook them.

Greetings,I have been waiting for you since to contact me for your Confirmable BANK DRAFT of $900,000.00USD, hence I went to Deposit it with a COURIER COMPANY. Do contact them for your parcel delivery. Note that i have already paid for the delivery charges and insurance certificate but they did not allow me to pay for the security keeping fee because they don't know when you will be contacting them, the security keeping is $280. You are advice not to make any other payment to any body apart from the security keeping fee which is $280usd, Please do contact them immediately. While I have enjoyed my short stay on this site I must tell you I am leaving.

As you can see I have just become rich.

Yes, rich...So, I will not have time to check out anything on the computer as I will be VERY busy counting my money.

Now I don't know Ms. Bein but she has been kind enough to send me the Email to inform me about my new found wealth.

I know it's not quite a million dollars but, while I am somewhat disappointed that it's ONLY $900,000.00, I think it is enough to keep me happy. I love counting money....Usually it's nickels and dimes but it will NOW be bills.

I think, when I get the money, I will cash the cheque and ask for one dollar bills..900,000 one dollar bills and then I will spend some time counting it....So I will, as I have stated, not have time to check my computer.

So I will bid you all a fond farewell as I will be very busy travelling and spending time on some exotic beach drinking pina coladas and watching the world go by. AND counting my money...

Moose, you're a rascal 'cause I got that email FIRST so the money's mine. Which means I'm gonna buy all the Starbucks I can drink and...well, maybe I'll share with you and Sue. :D:D
 
Dangnabbit! You mean she's giving that $900,000 to YOU??? She promised it to me and I've been looking under the couch cushions and returning bottles night and day to get that $280 together to wire to her. You'd think she would have been a little more patient....I've only been working on it for three years!

Just.can't.trust.anybody.these.days…….

Dear FuzzyBuddy…...In order for US to receive that large sum of money you wish to receive $ 280.00 as the Agent in charge? Would it not be possible to deduct the $ 280.00 and forward the remain funds to me, Moosehead, and I will be sure to send the half of the sum to Miss Mae. Really. That seems to be the way to go as you, Fuzzybuddy will then be sure to receive your fee....I await the cheque….Thank you. I mean WE await the cheque….
 
Now wait a damn minute!! She promised that to me!!!! I even retrieved that email from my spam folder, how COULD my computer have diverted such an important document that way????

Well...okay...mebbe...we'll give y'all a token box of chocolate covered cherries as a "consolation" gift.

Years ago, an elderly friend got her first computer. She pulled an all -nighter typing her fingers off. She came into work talking about this nice Nigerian Prince. She never heard of the scam, so we had to fill her in. God knows if we didn't clue her in.
