I have an old cat with bad teeth

She won't eat solid food because it hurts, so I've been buying boxes of tube-pureed food for her. These just aren't enough for her, she'll scarf down several tubes and then beg for more. I've tried to puree plain old cat food for her but my cheap Walmart blender won't process the food the way she wants it, and those tubes are expensive.

So I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe for soft pureed food that I can fix at home so she can eat.

You have to ask the Vet to extract her bad teeth and also give her a blood test to check her thyroid function. Hyperthyroid is very common in older cats. One symptom is that they are constantly hungry. They need a medication daily to help the thyroid function better.

I fed my cat with bad teeth baby food but the ones that was meat only. Like turkey, chicken and beef. I would warm it up a bit and put a little water in it to make a broth in it. When my other cat had been very sick, I fed her cream of chicken soup that was warmed up. She ate it off a spoon. Usually if a cat can't smell it they won't eat it so if I got a little in her mouth she would eat on her own.
