Tomorrow I see the plastic surgeon who performed tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery. Since the surgery, 4 weeks ago I've had to wear a compression body wrap around my abdomen which causes a lot of pain and discomfort from wearing the elastic wrap night and day. The surgeon removed 500 grams of fat from my body which calculates to a 1 ½ pounds this includes breasts and stomach. I can flex boob muscle's I wasn't able to do before, however the waist incision from right to left hipbone feels like cardboard because of the overlapping skin of the incision.
Driving hurts my back and makes me tired, hopefully I can get rested up for Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Finger Lakes WinterFest Sunday near Rochester. I honestly don't know if it is feasible health wise to make the 2 hour trip there and back.
I'm in the process of utilizing pain treatment therapy for my back through spinal specialist which may include pain prevention medications. I do not want to take narcotics that will lead to dependency however more information is needed before a decision can be made.
