I get all the green lights on my way.

Something expensive I need is marked down.

The steak is perfectly cooked.

How about you?
 

I ate a 5 serving bag of chips in one day and didn’t gain a lb.

Pickles lets me sleep in.

I miss one day of Curves because of drs appt and all the ladies all week ask where I was....because they missed me.

my house is spotless, my fridge is full and I have things to binge watch.
 
I get a call from one of the kids.

The dishes are done and the kitchen is spotless.

It's cold outside and there's a fire in the fireplace.

My little granddaughter says "I love you, Gwannie."
 
When I want to make a recipe on the spur of the moment and have all the ingredients.

Like Aunt Bea, a really great find at a flea market or garage sale.

Going to the casino and finally having the penny machine payout a few dollars.

Having my metal detector go off at the beach reading silver instead of copper and bottle caps.
 
I just love it when.

I'll be out working in the yard in the summer heat drenched in sweat and I'll look up and see mama coming across the backyard with a big glass of cold water because she knows that I won't stop for a drink till I'm done.

I'll be in a completely different part of the house and out of the blue mama will suddenly appear, give me a hug & kiss and say, "I love you" then smile and walk away to let me continue on with whatever it was that I was doing.

It's all about the little things.
 
It's beautiful and green outside because we've gotten some rain. About half of the year it's dry, dusty and brown so we love and appreciate the place when it's green! Green is also my favorite color.

Like RR I'm happy to get a steak that is cooked right. For me that means that it's quite pink inside.
 
The sea is calm, the sun is shining, nobody around and I can just sit peacefully enjoying the view listening to the waves lapping and the occasional cry of a seagull

When I saw your "green lights" phrase, it reminded me of when we would be preparing to land and I would say to my First Officer, "Landing Gear down" and after pulling the lever down to lower the gear, he would reply, "Three Green." Which meant all three bogies (gears) were down. That's always a good thing.

I just love it when a plan comes together.....which doesn’t happen to often.

I just love it when our kids give us a surprise visit here in Florida.

I just love it when I wake up in the morning and have had a good nights sleep, which doesn’t happen very often.

When I'm reading an interesting thread, come to a phrase like "where I live", "around here", "in my area" ... look at the upper right-hand corner of the post and see an actual location, e.g., state, major city, country for my European friends.

No offense to those who choose not to do this, but it certainly makes some posts a lot more relevant.
