Very true and at the age of 73 I still wonder to myself what my Mom and Dad would say or do in a particular situation. When
I realize I can't ask them it still is scary and they both have been gone for many years.

Hi Ruth n Jersey I'm 70 and everyday I think about what kind of advice that my late mother would give and how to deal with that which would bother me at times.She was a wise woman and without trying to run my life usually would explain instead of preaching to me.
My father had passed away 10 days after I had turned 9 years old and my mother when I was 24.My mother and I became close.I never had the chance to really get to know my father or learn about his family life and how he grew up.
