I Miss My Spa Of 25 Years Ago

It was just out the sliding door from the master bedroom These days I now have to go down three flights of stairs from my apartment and through a gate to the pool & spa.

But at least you don't have to maintain the spa yourself any more! That can be a lot of work and expense. I got rid of mine a couple years ago. It was given to me used and needed a new motor, for starters. And I got tired of constantly monitoring and adjusting the chemical levels. Plus it added about $50 to my monthly electric bill. Sure I miss the therapy it provided, but that's it.

Our spa is not working... the jets won't work... and it pops the circuit breaker... dang.. another repair bill... although, I'm just as happy hopping in the cool water for a brief dip while sitting out on my patio.. I really don't need the jets in the summer.. as I don't like to get in a hot spa when it's 90+ outside.. so I told hubby.. let's hold off getting it fixed until the fall. At least the circulating pump is working and the water is filtered and we keep it properly chlorinated. So basically, we are just using it as a kiddie pool.
