I need some help, what would be the equivalent to a round 14" pizza pan?

I found some canned pizza sauce hidden in my cupboard and thought I'd try the already made frozen pizza dough they had on sale last week.
I never thought to read the label in the store but when I got it home I noticed it calls for a 14"round pizza pan and of course I only have 12" pans.
I also have 12"X17" cookie sheets.
I don't want to make it to thin for fear of burning the bottom and if to thick it might not get done.
Any idea what size or sizes I should use?
Please no fancy equations. I slept through math class. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Oh, Ruth, I wouldn't give the size of your pans so much as a thought.

Trim the edge on either side to accommodate your 12"x17" cookie sheet, and bake as you normally do.

As for sticking, I wouldn't hesitate rubbing a light coat of olive oil into the pan beforehand.

I have a Bakers Secret pizza pan and is it ever awesome! No stick, no-scrub cleanup, and it's really big with air holes.

I would make a rectangular 12X17 pizza.

A little sprinkle of cornmeal on the sheet pan should help to prevent sticking.

If you have an extra cookie sheet you could double them up to help prevent burning the bottom crust.

Good luck!

@Gaer , I was just concerned about getting the thickness right. If I had the 14" pan I could make it that size and it probably would be a good thickness. I am going to try the cookie sheet though. @Repondering figured using 13" of the pan would be comparable to a 14" round pan.
Thanks for your idea as well as everyone who responded.

You can bake a pizza made for a 14" round pizza pan in a 12" x 17" cookie sheet.

Without showing the math, the area of a round 14" pizza pan is 154.2 square inches.
The area of 12"x17" cookie sheet is 204 square inches.
You only need to use 154.2 square inches of the cookie sheet.
Using the cookie sheet, make the pizza into a rectangle of 12"x12.85" which is 154.2 square inches.
Round it off to a 12"x13" rectangular pizza.

Call me when it's ready.

Since you are doing a deep dish version simply tuck the raw crust in any pan size then trim off the hanging over part. WALLA!
