I never knew you tube done that

I was listening to that great Talking Heads song - Road to nowhere when I noticed on the right-hand side of the screen "my mix"
I click on it, Lo and Behold it is a list of the previous 12 songs I have listened to.
I haven't got it on mine..... have you recently downloaded a newer version of YT ?

are you talking about the website or mobile app?

I have that for music listened to on Youtube as well. It is sometimes handy when I want to go back and listen to a previous song.

You do know @Bretrick that Youtube also has an algorithm that feeds videos similar to what you've watched before, correct?

I've seen that before, YouTube likes to keep tabs on you ;)

If you use a hardened security browser like Librewolf it automatically erases all cookies, history, ect. when closing the page or tab.

Stops a lot of websites from saving your data, but less convenient because passwords, logins, and whatever else you actually wanted saved is erased.

Just now I adjusted settings to clear all cookies when I shut down.
I was able to "mange" certain sites so that they remain signed in.

I have YouTube Music and it's connected to my Google account. With that app, if you click Like when you watch a video, it will show up in the Liked category of the Library, making it easier to find without going into YouTube. The same list can also be found on YT under Liked Videos. Did you know you can make custom YT playlists B? I took time and made playlists of songs in my 45 collection.

Yeah, I've seen it, too... never bothered with it until now that you got me curious. :sneaky: It's not giving me my "last 12" though... some of what it's suggesting are things I listened to years ago. Pretty sure I won't be using it.

So many places do these days, it seems. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. I find Amazon's book recommendations (based on past purchases and browsing history) very helpful, for example; however, Spotify's suggestions irritate me for some reason, so I am always careful to to disable that function.
