I rode the train to Fremantle with the hope of buying an Australian made Beanie head covering.

Very rare, most stuff here is Made in China.
Walked into a store displaying "Australia"
"Are your products made in Australia"?
"They are designed in Australia"
"Where are they made, please"?
"They are Made in China"
"Sorry Mate, I have given China the Flick"
I walk on.
All stores with Clothing are stocking Made in China
There is one store where I may get lucky.
Immediately alighting the train, Gusman espied the Margaret River Hemp store.
Alas, they have not stock of beanies and will have none for approximately 6 weeks.
Another search and I see there is a store in South Fremantle that stocks exclusively Australian made wool products.
Eagle Wools Clothing.
I will jump on the bus and go have a look.
Fremantle used to be such a thriving, effervescent community.
Now it is sad and depressing for those who knew it from years gone by.
Many closed stores, less than half the shoppers of yesteryear.

You might have better luck finding Made In Australia goods, online.
