I saw 2 robins this morning

This was the first this spring that I could be sure (I may have seen robins prior to today, but couldn't be positive) and they were acting mighty frisky (if you know what I mean).

We have robins all year round in our garden. We have had some beautiful sunny weather this last week, and the robins are so tame they come and sit right by us if we're out sitting in the garden, or they just perch on the handle of the garden tool if hubs walks away from it after digging...

I love it when I first see a robin in the spring. But supposedly they really don't migrate?????? I don't know if I'm bird blind, but I usually don't see birds around me. I'm surrounded by woods. I don't see all these birds, which bird lovers see. I hear an owl that lives next to me, but I've never seen him.

I've been seeing quite a few over the past couple of weeks in my yard, nice plump ones.....sure sign of spring!

They've been back here a few weeks now, arrived during a mild snowfall. I threw out some frozen blueberries so they would have something to tide them over.

I don't think robins eat berries. They prefer worms and grubs.

they actually do eat berries especially over winter, in fact they eat most fruits

Hey all, we have all sorts of birds here Beckwourth CA magpies, quails, woodpeckers, ravens love it! They are all great, the quails are really cute, fun to watch. There is good eatin with our lawn and elsewhere. I've turned into a bird watcher which is great fun also
