This morning I woke coughing and tasting blood also with a slight headache
I think it would become a worry if it persisted for several days. No visible blood, but blood non the less.My covid cough has also hung on for a few weeks. I think that is happening to lots of folks with the current version.
Mine is not too bad though, no taste of blood, that would worry me a bit...
The cough is not worrying me so much. But the blood taste is a little concerning.Very sorry to hear you are still not feeling back to normal, @Bretrick . It must be frustrating not to be able to help yourself through this. Did you consider checking with a doctor? Although, four weeks is probably the average recuperation time, if you are living it, it must seem like months.
All is under control. I will wait a while to see if it persists.get to a chest spécialiste MD, have a chess X-ray ASAP, may be pneumonia or worse

My cough has finally gone. I never even took much notice lately so thinking back, it has been at least two week? since I stopped coughingA child can have a cough from a virus for even three months.
I assume that if they can, we adults also can.
I am getting over this Virus right now, hubby and I both having tested positive this past monday, both of us for the first time.
Maybe as the weeks pass, I will recall this thread and get back here to share if my cough is gone, etc.
All cleared up now. No cough, no metallic taste.get to a chest spécialiste MD, have a chess X-ray ASAP, may be pneumonia or worse
