I talk to my cat.

Remember the famous " Dogs have masters and cats have staff":D They wrap us around their pretty paws. It's cute though with Sophie. Callie has a pitiful little bark and a serious growl but he's rather quiet most of the time. Sophie has any number of whines, chortles, and chuffs...a whole vocabulary actually.

Oh and SB, a cute Stumpy story...She started out with the lovely name Julia. We didn't realize there were bobtail Manx cats. She came from a shady pet shop and I assumed she had an accident of some sort. This beautiful little tuxedo kitten...who grew into an acrobat walking across door tops, straight up walls...so energetic no other cats would play with her...the two boy cats that tried to have their way with her got pinned to the wall as she boxed their ears. Julia was such a sweet name but Stumpy suited her personality

She can be a cuddle puss with people...

What sweet pictures, Fur. Grannyjo you should take videos of your dog talking and send them to America's Funniest Videos or some such place.

I think talking to pets is perfectly normal. I do not remember what I have said to the cats and dogs in our lives, except I remember telling our Ginger (dog) in a frustrated moment "Oh Ginger go to bed!", and her response? She went downstairs and went to bed on our son's bed. Surprised me greatly.''

It is, indeed, BlondieBoomer. She was one of the (if not THE) youngest among us and yet she went first. I'm sad for her family's loss, as she seemed to have been the heart of it and I know she loved and worried so about them and their future. I DO wonder what happened -- if it was a sudden heart attack or an accident. She is much missed.
