I thought I was a Baby Boomer?

I'm a Boomer, born in '57 and hubs is Gen X, born in '65. What's important to me is that we mostly remember the same events, music and TV shows so it keeps life interesting. I came of age in the 70's but really starting living life in the 80's so that helps.
 
If asked I wouldn't get people stuffed into the correct generational strata, and don't feel any guilt whatsoever for that. It does concern me that the number of people around today can't figure out that they aren't born with a birthright of entitlement. Get up off your butt develop your self worth and success will come your way.
