I Treated Myself to a Pedicure & Manicure

I think the last time I had both was a cruise in Tahiti in 1993. I was going to go with iridescent green with sparkles on my toe nails and decided on just plain opaque.
Nails sure seem to grow faster and brittle as we age. Between my frequent body massages and now pedicures I am really feeling Self Indulgent. WHAT THE HELL --I deserve it.
 

Those Vietnamese, Cambodian and Korean pedicurists do things to my toes that I could never do.

I feel like dancing out to my car afterwards. But I don't.

(BTW, Elaine Benes hates them, because they make fun of her.)
 
Good for you Lon, I don't like manicures, had one that was painful, rather do it myself. Plus, I rarely wear nail polish on my hands except for clear. Have had a few more pedicures, but you can count them on both hands, not many in my lifetime. Nice treat sometimes, but mostly will do it myself while I still can, not too keen on people handling my feet, can be ticklish or ouchy! :eek:
