I would like to visited British Columbia, England, France, Ireland and Hawaii. I seen Carlsbad Caverns twice and Los Angeles . I’ve had extensive living experience in the Deep South, Georgia and Loisianna. Central NY from 1980 to the present.

One might imagine I have full plate of memories and experiences, however, my absence of memory cannot be rectified by geographical location, but within the data I identify myself as an empty bucket riddled with holes, incapable of transporting life water to an old man as me.

I hold on to any opportunity that might reignite the flame within me as if an unwillingness stubbornly refuse to give in to the fate of the living that one day we all will bow and submit ourselves death as we did at the beginning when we opened our minds and bodies to the life ahead.

Life or death makes no difference it is how they are addressed that determine our fate. My fight is with neither for I fight against and for myself on the same battlefield, sizing whichever opponent I stand against at the time to win or die another day. The equality of Yin&Yang determines balance in present and future events.

Yeah, me too. Now that I'm in a wheel chair, travel isn't as rewarding as when you've got two good legs. I love traveling, and I should have done a lot more. And before someone replies about "wheelchair accessible"- that usually means they have a broken down ramp out by the dumpsters, and you get the grand tour of basements.

I agree. lots of places I wish I could have visited. Now, at 70, I kind of wonder if I have one more good trip in me. I would have to bring some sort of mobility aid with me...like a power chair or scooter. But the thought is there.
Unfortunatly,, I need to get past the I may be too old for this mindset
 
Because I have seen people wait until retirement to travel and then not be able to I started as soon as my kids grew up. I was 43 and went to Thailand for my first international trip. Since I have been to Europe 6 times, 6 cruises, most of the states and many national parks. I have been everywhere I really wanted to go. In 2025 I am going to France with a friend.
 
I started traveling when I was in my early 20's. I am in my 80's now. I have been in all 7 continents and visited all 24 time zones. I am done traveling in part because I do not want to face airports. Our last 3 trips were cruises to Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii, all round trip from LA.
 
I traveled with my parents as a kid, and continued as an adult. I have many pleasant memories in my old age (I turned 90 last month).

I got to visit 18 countries plus some places too small to be countries. I have visited 48 states, although Hawaii was not yet a state when I went there.
 
Most of my travelling has been on business, but it did give me the opportunity to live in different places for long enough to get to know them.

Now we're retired we plan to see a lot more places, although neither of us fancies long haul flights.
