I would like to meet everyone.

I have never met anyone from SF in person, but I know that there are at least a few that live fairly close to me.
Maybe one of these days we'll bump into each other out there ... 😃

Well, on another website, I agreed to meet one of the other members. We have been married for 13 years. :D
just what i need....a new husband...not. lol!

after recent events on here there is one i'd prefer to NOT run into. so i'm ok with saying "hey have a great time!"

i was extended an invitation on another forum by a lady friend to come to california to visit sometime but i don't do those kinds of things. perhaps if we had some video conversation first or something but even then...how does one know that person isn't a murderer or something?

wouldn't wanna get there and end up like this:

Now for the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey used to say. We were both widowed for some time, and were active on a grief recovery chat room, helping others get through their grief. One day, she asked my where I lived, and we found out we only lived 40 miles apart. We agreed to meet half way for lunch, and after lunch I walked her to her car, and told her I would like to see her again.
We were married on the Greek island of Santorini, on one of the many trips we took together.

I've been on many forum meets ( all in England) .. I'm happy to say I never married any of them :ROFLMAO:
Good for you holly, I have been in the arms of more ladies than I could ever remember, but there's only one lady with whom I have shared a bed. One of my wife's female ambulance colleagues would never leave me alone until I danced with her. She was a woman of ample charms and on one occasion she wore a top, cut so low, the puppies were almost out of their kennel.

When I finally got to sit down my wife said: "I see you survived then." "She managed to get her dance," I replied, "and I made firm eye contact with her for the entire dance but it wasn't easy when two bowls of pink blancmange kept wobbling up and down in my field of vision." "You weren't impressed with the man magnets then," my wife said, "she probably thinks that you bat for the other side." "If she leaves me alone, she can think what she likes." I replied, adding: "Are you dancing?"

As a member of many Las Vegas forums, I’ve been to many meets. Many of us have stayed in touch for years.

DH used to have a fit & my kids had conniptions. Too bad.

What I’ve found is no one is ever quite what you imagine.

That is soo true....and despite having spoken to those people for years in some cases before we met as a group ( always a group) .. most of them were different in some way or another to how I imagined they would be...
