ice cream, gelato, or sherbet?

I'm not a huge ice cream eater. I've always preferred sherbet over ice cream. Last year I had gelato the first time & I really like it. So..now my preferences are
gelato
sherbet
ice cream

UNLESS it's home made pumpkin ice cream and that wins hands down

The only time I eat Gelato is when my daughter makes it, but she tells me its healthier than ice cream. If that is true, I'd have to say I like it the best. Then ICE CREAM. Last is Sherbet. I think ice cream is the downfall of everyone in our family.

I like Gelato, but I love ice cream, but only good ice cream, not that poor excuse cheap stuff they're selling now. We have Hagen Daz, which is the best available around here, next I think Ben & Jerry's isn't too bad, but has too many ingredients, imo. I can pass on sherbet altogether. I can't imagine life without ice cream.

Ice cream, Baskin Robbins hand packed in their stores. Next best is Hagen Daz for us, but liked their Simply Five formula better, only five natural ingredients. Of course as soon as you like something, they stop making it. Sherbet is next best, especially if I'm calorie conscious or it's the heat of the summertime, then it's usually Hagen Daz raspberry or berry flavor for me. Gelato I never liked.

I have never tried Gelato but I love Ice cream and Sherbet.
Low fat Frozen Yogurt is also very good and I buy it often.

Ice Cream is my downfall when it comes to excess calories. I love it. Two really good local brands up here: Giffords and Brighams. Of course, if I'm really splurging, it's Ben & Jerry's.

Gelato, ice cream, sherbet all pretty good to me. I sometimes would just have a craving for sherbet more so and other times ice cream. I'll take the gelato in place of gelato or vice versa, doesn't really matter to me, they both do the pallet justice.

Yeah me being a Texan I've missed out on many things ya'll eat up north. There might be Italian ice in the malls & I just haven't seen it. I really don't like malls.

Never tried gelato and I like sherbet and regular ice cream about equally......it seems I eat sherbet more in the warmer summer months.

I love frozen custard even better than ice cream. If you ever come across a Kohr's frozen custard stand, have one on me.

I never really liked ice cream very much. It's a bit too sweet. Maybe I was spoiled by my grandmother, who always made it fresh, tailored to just the way I liked it. Her peach ice cream was divine. That was my favorite, and her vanilla was a close second. I like sherbet, berry and orange being the top two.

Not huge on ice cream. I like it but only now and then.

I do like gelato- it has a very silky/creamy mouth feel. I was amazed to read it has no cream in it!
Vanilla ice cream on top of a warm brownie is a favorite.
Otherwise, coffee and rum raisen are my best flavors.
Sherbet, not so much.
