Ideas You’ve Found on SeniorForums

What ideas or hints have you found on SeniorForums to help improve your life as a senior?

Yesterday I realized the value of safety mat for the bottom of the shower. An accident was almost inevitable. Also the idea of a countertop oven so I don’t have to bend over will likely be in my future. There’ve also been some recipes. These are just some ideas that popped into my mind; I’m sure there are many more things.

Great idea for a thread, @Jules ! 🤩
I can't wait to see what others post on it.
:geek:

I am sure I have picked up many helpful tips from SF posters. Sometimes it isn't even the main idea of a thread, that includes a post mentioning something that I jot down to remember to consider trying.

At the moment, I remember that I found a few posters mentioning Adult Coloring. It took a long while, till I actually took action to try it. Yet recently during a very high stress time, I am finding it does relax me.

I also remember getting some very helpful ideas, regarding Medicare Part D. That lead me to being better able to figure out my options, and to make a very excellent change for the better.
Another nice result of that, was that I went on from that, to learn more about the topic, including info that I later shared with others at SF, in order to help them to find the info that could help them with theirs.
Is this The true meaning of forum?:giggle:

I know that I have also found some helpful ideas to consider, about supplements, and meds.

And helpful household items, too.

In addition to the endless ideas that SF posters share,
for coping with various challenges.

Thanks to all of you, and to Jules, for this thread.
