Pretty much less, if they need a celebrity so bad, the product or service must not be that good.

Taking a class in college on Pop Culture turned out to be the best class ever. Covered commercialism and advertising games to get you to buy the latest, priciest most useless stuff they can. Convincing you it was a Must Have. I never followed the latest trends after that class.

Not in the slightest, just shows they're desperate, and if they're desperate they usually end up endorsing a sham product or service.

The celebrities get BIG money to do commercials. The companies wouldn’t pay it if it didn’t work.

It doesn’t attract me. I can totally ignore commercials. Mostly I fast forward through them.

If I recall correctly, David Spade said he bought his first house from what he was paid.

Of course some people will buy in to the celebrity endorsement. But I am too smart for that.

I mute all the commercials on TV - they are always full volume and this annoys me, celebrity or not.
