If a celebrity endorses a product...

Are you more of less 'inclined' to buy/trust

i.e. TV ad..BilliOn Thorton is 'hawking' for T Mobile

The celebrities get BIG money to do commercials. The companies wouldn’t pay it if it didn’t work.

It doesn’t attract me. I can totally ignore commercials. Mostly I fast forward through them.

If I recall correctly, David Spade said he bought his first house from what he was paid.

Of course some people will buy in to the celebrity endorsement. But I am too smart for that. 🙄

I got a Chase Freedom Card in 2020 to be paid cash back and still use it all the time. However, after hearing Kevin Hart yell "cash backin'" on all their commercials I'm ready to turn it in. And don't get me started on Joe Namath hawking all the old folks' stuff. I remember when he modeled a pair of stockings in the 70's!

I am pretty much adverse to commercials in general. I watch the ABC which is a public broadcaster and the only adverts are for their own programs. Like others who have pointed to the celebrities being paid big money for their endorsements, I reckon the product is probably overpriced.

I never buy shoes or clothing with the labels on the outside and can't see the point of buying "merch".

Wish I could give you a 100,000 hearts on this.

Commercials, advertisements, constant Video stuff is just a pack of lies,
just like the Internets. It's like re-energizing a dead Lithium battery so it
will recharge, make sure to add a resister in that circuit.

I honestly don't believe I bought anything that was endorsed by a celebrity. I mean I do like Little Caesars, Domino's Pizza and I of course do shop at Walmart and various other stores. But there's nothing I'm dead set will not hesitate to buy if endorsed by a celebrity.
