If I were to present a sermon today

If I were to present a sermon today, I would not include Jesus, sins or salvation as reason to recruit new members or to pacify established members, if I had a church.

To begin with, I do not believe Jesus, God and the holy spirit are needed for a spiritually led life, because prayer is simply putting our needs and the needs of others up before the universe, the heavens or something meaningful to you for fulfillment. Prayer is setting aside time to reflect and demonstrate concern for the planet, the leaders who guide us into war, and/or the lawmakers who infringe upon our freedoms as a means of unsanctioned protection for the goodness of all mankind. Meanwhile nuclear warheads sit poised for launching in the USA and abroad, for the goodness of all who survive a nuclear holocaust.

There was never meant to be total equality among the species of the earth. It was and has always been survival of the fittest. Darwinism has always been the way for life to advance and leave behind those who are uncapable to adapt to the continuum of changes that occur every single moment of life.

Who are we? We are equal beings, and the universe is our relations with each other. The universe is made of one kind of entity; each one is alive; each determines the course of his/her own existence.

The basic function of each being is expanding and contracting. Expanded beings are permeative; contracted beings are dense and im-permeative. Therefore, each of us alone or in combination may appear as space, energy, or mass depending on the ratio of expansion to contraction chosen. Each being controls his/her own vibrations.

We experience expansion as awareness, comprehension, understanding or whatever we wish to call it. When we are completely expanded, we feel totally aware or being one with life. At that level we have no resistance to any vibrations or interactions of other beings.

When a being is totally contracted, he is a mass particle, completely imploded and unable to be in the same space as others. A contracted state of being is felt as fear, pain, unconsciousness, ignorance, hatred, evil, and other strange feelings. He/she may feel completely insane while resisting everyone and everything, unable to choose the content of his/her consciousness. These are merely feelings associated with the vibration level and can be resolved at any time by expanding, by letting go of all resistance to what he thinks and feels.

The pathway to space aka heaven is evident by our ability to let go.

It's complicated.

I do think there are areas of life where equality should exist. Meet a stranger on the street - they should be treated equally, be they dressed in dirty clothing or a nice suit.. Human dignity knows no bounds. There are no special privileges to the rich and famous. Or the ought not be.

Survival of the fittest, as a concept, will end up destroying man. Someone, somewhere, has to show restraint. Otherwise, it's a race to the ultimate end.

Still, giving a sermon as a non-believer is tough. I think if I were to give a sermon, it would be more about the idea of contradiction. How so called Christians support war, hate on others, and support the ultimate deterrents. How, despite the word, we don't love our fellow man. How there are as many interpretations of the word as there are bibles. How love is both giving, and costly. You simply have to give some of yourself. How forgiveness for a sin is no substitute for not doing a known sin in the first place.

Still, it's an interesting idea - a sermon from a non-believer......

Ok, Church- a building for public and especially Christian worship.
The clergy of offciaildon of a religious body.

Sermon: a religious discourse delivered in public usually by a member of the clergy as a part of a worship service.

Why do people worship the things they worship when there no solid evidence of their existence? I pray to what I call god for my friends, family members, and worldwide situations, the point I am making is my understanding is not likely what everyone sees as their god.
I believe in prayer even if my thoughts are heard somewhere in space or hear on earth. It doesn’t matter what you believe as long it is not destructive to you or anything, anybody else.

Christians are pompous in their beliefs that no other religion or belief system can compare to christian reward and according to the Bible any other belief outside of christianity is doomed for the lake of fire. By instilling this type of fear, people are afraid to question Christian authority and/or leave based on biblical threats.
