If my eye problem wasn't enough...

Now my left leg near my knee has excruciating pain, it's about where the top of the fibula is. It's the worst in the morning when I first arise or after sitting for a while. If I get up and move around, the pain eventually works out, but I have synesthesia down the outside of the leg and have the sensation of cold in that foot (even thought it's not actually). It the same leg I broke my fibula near the ankle in 2008.

This morning I got up and watered some houseplants. When I turned around, I stubbed my left little toe on a table. It's a little swollen, but I don't think anything is broken. Lately, I'm an accident looking for a place to happen. I blame poor vision in my left eye.

synesthesia ?... are you sure you mean synesthesia ?

I was born with that and it means I associate words with colours

If you have pain after a night of sleep, @debodun, the first thought that comes to me is your mattress. If it's old, that might be the reason. I had pain a few years back, and added a mattress topper that I sink into. That has made all the difference for me.

I'm sorry deb. I did the same with a toe not too long ago. I'm pretty convinced I broke the toe as I felt something slip when I put shoes on and it really bruised. That healed on it's own. Can't do much about it. I am concerned about your leg. Please go to the doctor.

Toe...one week later. Bruise is dissipating but moving into instep area.
