If You Could Replace an Emoji Here?

Of the 8 emojis here, if you could remove one and replace it with another what would it be?

For me it would be the angry face. I never know for sure what I’m implying. Sometimes I’m angry at the content written and sometimes it’s about the person saying it. It rarely gets used so probably wouldn’t be missed, imo.

I’d replace it with a hug emoji with a sad hug face. Sometimes I want to acknowledge that‘s what I’d like to do for someone. They need a hug because they’re sad.

I'd want the addition of the face palm emoji that was brought up in the previous thread about this. And if I had to choose one to replace it with, it would be the WOW emoji. I find that one problematic.

Wouldn't 'replace' anything but would put to use a 'Strongly Disagree with Respect' emoji, which I hope would show that I don't care to fight about it or to be put in my place.

I find the WOW a problem too especially in the fun threads, cartoon etc etc.

yes I agree however sometime the wow means..oh how fabulous...or how stunning..... as well as oh wow, that's bad...

Oh yes I don't discount it entirely.
Wow in amazement, or wonder, oh lots of times it is appropriate.

I would like to ADD the check mark emoji for when someone gives really helpful/useful information.

It is used often on the horse forum I belong to, but is never misused as the horse care question asked is generally serious.

A good example for use on this forum might be the thread about the very senior dog who is nearing his Crossing Over threshold.

If you're using a Windows computer you can find emojis by pushing the windows button plus the period. A small window will pop up with emojis. Here's a small sample...

There are only eight emojis available for use as reactions to a post. The ones that show up when you hover over the, "Like" in the lower right of a post. Those are the subject here.

EDITED: changed "left" to "right" - I'm bad with directions.

Yes, but the thing is we are limited to those emojis when choosing a reaction and that's what this is about.

You have to create a post to use those emojis. That would add a large amount of unnecessary posts just to react.

This is news to me. I didn't know there was a difference between the emoji things in the reaction thing and the ones when you click the smiley face thing. There's literally hundreds of them.

Through Apple devices too. My iPhone has hundreds as does my laptop

Oh but wait. Someone pointed out that if you want to use an emoji without actually replying to the post, you’re limited to only the 8 that are on the site.

I don’t think it would take much extra coding to add more. But then again I think the website is template based and Matrix can only change certain things, like website name, maybe font style etc.
