Heck, I already did it. I was born a boy and way back in 1986 I began my transition to become the person I was meant to be( a female). In 1991 I fully transitioned and have been living the life I was meant to live ever since. I am now happily married to a wonderful man for 10 years and have a brilliant step daughter.

Well, that's a physical change but doesn't account for the sexual aspect. As was demonstrated in a Seinfeld episode, a person can't just "switch teams" with their orientation. That said, I'd have to go the route that Gary O' suggested:

If I switched to be a man for a day I'd get my pay at work increased and probably find myself a manager there. (I'm pretty bummed out about the all-male self-satisfied deadwood management at work!).
