If You Were To Return To The Workplace Would You Choose A Different Line Of Work

I would have a father who was a multi-millionaire and I'd travel wherever and whenever.

I've gone through several different professions only to discover I really don't like to work.
I love to work. I just don't like some of the bosses I've had over the years. They can take all the fun and gratification out of work. Good bosses do just the opposite. And there's nothing more rewarding than working on a good team where everyone is focused on producing the best product possible — people who are above office politics and all the backstabbing and brown-nosing that is all too often found on large projects where people are just there to earn a living.

Like a few here, I wish I would have started my own HVAC shop when I had the chance.
Problem was I'd have to employ people and interact with customers; never would have
been good at that.

I'd expect my employees to work like me and I would always undercharge for the work being done.
I'm a sucker for a hard luck story, so would have probably lost the business anyway.

I was a licensed practical nurse for years and I enjoyed it but the very first day of nursing school we took a tour of all the departments of the hospital and I realized I would have loved to have been an occupational therapist.
I thought it was to late to do anything about it at that time. Looking back I could have easily made the change. I had my whole life in front of me,

On a grander scale I would have enjoyed a career in art restoration or anything in the art field.

Okay, I'll confess to what I first thought of. I've been reading stories with witches (good witches) all my life. I would like to be a witch. Unfortunately, I've never heard of a witch IRL who can do spells that actually work, and I'm not fond of the idea of pretending to do so or of pretending the correlation equals causation. The witches I've read about are characters in a writer's head. They can do neat things (like light candles with their thoughts).

So while this may sound weird, it will not happen. I just have an active imagination.

Back when I used to go to Walmart, I would encounter at least one mother whose child(ren) were acting up because they were bored sitting or standing in long lines. The mothers would yank their child's arms and yell at them to shut up, or hit the kid. Well, I can't put a spell on them, but I can offer to read to the child to give the mother a break. So I decided that when it is safe for me to go there, I will bring a couple of short picture books, and make the offer, and give the child the book, if s/he likes it. I don't know how this will go over with the mothers, but it can't hurt to try.
