If you go on You Tube, there is a place called Exotic Feline Rescue in Center Point Indiana that has beautiful animals they have rescued over the years

. They have over 260 acres of land dedicated to rescues. They do not buy, sell, or breed these animals. They started out as big cat rescue, but have since taken in others animals that need homes such as foxes, opossums and coyotes. They even took in a homeless bear.

They get rescues from people who have owned them illegally, lost their licenses, could no longer care for them, roadside zoos etc. etc...They have a state of the art medical facility where they get good medical care.

When I get bored, I sometimes get online and look at the various animals. I used to visit frequently but I no longer live close by so the computer will have to do.

I will have to look that up - thank you!

There is also an Asian & African elephant sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee. They had a new arrival this year but I can’t remember the details.

They saw some damage in one the tornadoes a few years back, but the elephants were ok.

I will look that up. I live in South Central Ky now so I don't get back to Indiana like I would like to, to see the animals. I looked up Hohenwald Tn. I see it's along the Natchez Trace Parkway. I see a day trip coming in the future. My husband and I did the whole Natchez Trace Parkway about 4 years ago. It was beautiful! I wish I'd known about this sanctuary then. We might have included that on our trip.
