I was once burned with third degree burns covering about 30% of my body in an industrial accident. The terrible and ongoing pain of the treatments and cure lasted for months. Thinking it was relative compared to say 50% made the experience no easier. Relativity is irrelevant in some situations. But, relevant in others.

Already been to hell and met the devil. 2nd and 3rd degree over 60% of my body. Skin grafts, surgery... I know what you mean by pain. No amount of morphine will even dull it.

I have read that burns are extremely painful and one of the reasons burn victims die is because of the incredible pain. You guys that survived are really tough.

I cannot see imagine such agony and horror.
I hope there is more pain now.
