An Illinois fire department is warning drivers not to keep hand sanitizer in their parked cars amid the coronavirus after authorities said a bottle with high alcohol content appeared to have been left on a dashboard and helped spark a fire.

Yes, Robert. Women can keep it in a purse. I imagine with the rise in the coronavirus again, men may have to get a fanny-pack, briefcase, or man-bag to hold their sanitizer and masks safely!

I was thinking that could happen when temps rise. Alcohol is highly flammable and hand sanitizer is primarily alcohol. Thanks for the reminder @Robert59.

I keep a small (2 oz) bottle in my purse and refill as needed.
