I'm Back !!!

I was away from here for the past little while as my computer had a problem..
One of the fans stopped working and it fried my main board which means a new puter..

I am back now and hopefully I will be posting again......

Well, most of the snow has melted.. The daytime temperatures are around the +5 to +10c mark with loads of sunshine.. They are forecasting rain for the next week almost with even warmer temperatures..

Floods are another thing up here.. We are not affected at all as we are NO way near water.. Close but not near..

The lakes are still frozen over..

SHALL WE SAY THE WINTER IS OVER ????

There will be more frosty nights way below the freezing mark but for the most part, SPRING HAS SPRUNG !!!!!!!!!

I saw my first Robin last week which is an indication of spring..
I saw the wee girls skipping rope which is an indication of spring..
I saw the kids on their bikes and skateboards which is an indication of spring..
I saw the kids making chalk squares on the road and hopping which is an indication of spring..
I saw folks taking off the cover from their camping trailer and cleaning it out..
I saw some folks on their motor bikes..

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY !!!!!

That whole fan/overheating thing has been the death of many a PC. One thing I always try to do is use a laptop on a hard, flat surface so that the fan slots do not get blocked.

Glad to have you back, Steve.

I don't have a laptop and I don't want one either..
We have our puter in the upstairs den and that is where we want it.. We only open up the puter late in the evening at bed time.. Never during the day..

We don't have a cell phone either.. Don't want one either.. Actually we don't need one..

True Confession: I toil my evenings away working on all the high tech equipment that makes this and cell hell possible. The stuff puts out a lot of heat and I'm freezing even on the hottest times of year. Don't have a cell phone and don't want one. Got this here brand new spankin' 'puter and don't want a laptop, pad, tab, jab, nab nor Dick Tracy wrist rocket...

Once more, I'm reminded of the poor guy standing by the side of the road yelling, "Get a horse!" as those damned new fangled contraptions went roaring past.
