I'm so old that:

Grampa Don

Yep, that's me
I can remember when cars had manual chokes. Starting on a cold morning was a bit of an art.
I had to wind my alarm clock and my watch.
I voted for Kennedy.
I got haircuts for a dollar.
I had a pair of saddle oxfords.
I had fuzzy dice hanging from my rear view mirror knitted by my girlfriend.
Slide rules were required for my classes and a suit and tie for work.
I traveled Route 66 from L.A. to St. Louis and back.

Now that's old.

We had car windows you rolled down .
Skates were metal with a '' key'' to adjust them .
Skate boards were wood with metal wheels .
Woolworth sold quarter size turtles .
Black cow was a drink also served at the Woolworth food area .
Every kid enjoyed jaw breakers candy .
Most things you bought were well made and lasted ( couldn't resist this one ) .

I’m so old that I was born before Alaska became a state. (Bet a lot of you were too)
I'm 75. I will be repeating this often, as it is so shocking :ROFLMAO:
Remember very well statehood for Alaska and Hawaii. Remember exactly where I was when JFK..........
I remember Emmett Till's ugly death, I was only six, but remember it well.

My dad a news nut, so I was aware and heard them talk about things.
