My wife and mother inspired me to use a computer for communication purposes. At the time I just got out of the hospital after an attempted overdose prompting psychosis. As with other psychotic events I had to relearn basic living skills to survive and make decisions for myself. My greatest achievement to this day was managing medication on my own, after the hospitalization my wife kept my medication in a locked box to prevent further mishaps that may occur in case I took the wrong medication or too many.

Gaining control of my medication proved I was step closer to getting better.. I was taking a lot of different medications that at first was very confusing but I didn't give up. Finally my gave in after multiple tries and constant nagging on my part.

Getting back to computer literacy, I did not have any trouble learning how to compute after all 1+1 =2.00 ALL. The only time I messed up and asked was composing a word document and accidentally changed the setting not knowing what I did or how to return to the original setting.

My first computer was a heavy dell laptop, when that crashed I bought an Apple. MacBook Pro and I have been with Apple products ever since. I have a huge digital library of music on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube Music on my phone and computer with easy access. I love music, there was a time when the only thing I could relate to was music so you see how important music is to me.
