Increase in poisonings from cleaners since lockdown

Virtually all cleaning products are harmful if not used properly. Many of the "fumes" can irritate a person's lungs if they have a pre-existing condition, and they Certainly shouldn't be used to "clean" anything edible. I am amazed to hear about some people washing fruits and vegetables in bleach, etc....that is asking for trouble. Plus, the way so many people are increasing usage of these products, and buying everything they can find at the stores, they are putting small children at increased risk, if they have a lot of that stuff laying all over the house.
 
Doesn't surprise me the biggest percentage is kids where the parents are parenting with neglect....are they locking the cabinets with those plastic thingies that can be bought anywhere? Even rubber bands work to tie them closed and secure....
