Influx of FB pages about "adorable monkeys for adoption"

On my FB Friend/page suggestions I am suddenly getting suggestions for pages about "Adorable Monkeys for Adoption". Not sure why as I never post about monkeys, have no interest in adopting one.

Edit: You can deny FB access to your cellphone mic, both as a cellphone app and in Facebooks "privacy" features. Despite that, I believe FB can circumvent those privacy settings somehow...

I get it, but rarely use cell. Just PC. and I never do anything concerning monkeys. Just my interest in rats.

I usually block the pages when they come up. I am just amused. I get a lot of suggestions for rat pages...but I am used to them

One explanation could be that one of your friends "liked" that page. And after looking at that page, I don't blame you for blocking it !
