A small child injured in a Georgia police drug raid using SWAT or military tactics now has hospital bills over one MILLION dollars along with a lot of pain and misery.

This is a story and person that needs to be at the forefront of excessive police force. If I recall they didn't find the actual suspect or armed residents. But are military tactics really needed as a matter of practice on every single raid? To me this is the face of excessive or unnecessary police force.

I read stories like this and I instantly put myself in their place and begin to imagine their pain ........ I think of my little babies and how much I loved them or my little grandkids now and if their faces had been blown apart............

Thanks WhatInThe for sharing this story. People need to hear it and understand how 'protected' they are.

All this because of a warrant for someone selling speed? The military practice is being used whenever possible by police, we saw that for the Boston bomber, where people's homes were forcefully entered without warrant. This has got to stop, but I don't see that happening with the police/government mindset these days. That poor baby. :(
