Hmm...I wonder why those marines didn't just wait for the police to arrive to swiftly apprehend that suspected thief?

Such a tragedy the suspected thief stumbled on that curb!!!

The curb was very tall? … and the street was lined with spikes? ….meant to slow vehicle traffic, (to a standstill)
or to reduce the number of dangerous wild animals possibly crossing or sleeping in the street? Also, the spikes were meant to reduce the number of beach balls rolling across the road, from the Toys for Tots?
