Interesting article in AARP mag this month

Got my usual AARP mailing (one of many) recently. Had an interesting write up about polio's lasting effects. Myself contacted polio in 1954 (mild case) was able to play sports to some degree and joined the service during the Vietnam era.

My wife pointed out how I've become somewhat intolerant to cold. I have minor issues with some of the other charted problems but can't seem to stay warm doing normal activities. If true I now have a reason to don a jacket in June and September, Others?

I get cold even when others are in thin sleeveless tops. But I'm thin skinned and take blood thinners.
.

Could it be you're not eating enough?
I have lost some weight but get my three squares a day and a big meat eater, this has been going on now for a few years. I used to generate body heat (she welcomed me gladly in her bed for that reason alone). Doctor prescribed B-12 supplements said I was a little anemic.

That's why, then. Hope you get this resolved soon! 🌹

I never had any too hot or too cold issues. In Vietnam, it was really hot and humid. Didn’t really mind the weather, except for the rain.
When I lived in NE Ohio, it was cold and snowy from October through May. Didn’t mind it. I don’t like a lot of rain or ice though.
