Interesting read on Carl Jung"s "The Ultimate Guide to the Human Dark Side

I don't buy into his Shadow Self hypothesis, as though such is working from some subconscious executive control pilot of one's mind that one cannot access without "considerable moral effort". Just the kind of mumbo jumbo psychologists loved to claim decades ago with confused, overly emotional clients with poor behavioral understandings. Oh sure, there are many emotional people that fit such models, but I don't believe that is true of many others. Especially those that have worked with many others as teams in professional corporate worlds. None of the 7 flawed behaviors listed apply to many people.

Decades ago, I took several classes in local community colleges as I considered changing careers from electronics into something in psychology science where I received top grades. However, I came to realize that I had little patience dealing with the kinds of flawed emotional minds so many have, so abandoned that change. Regardless of how clearly one might explain whatever to some people with mental or misinformation issues, their minds are so mixed up that it can be nearly hopeless to straighten them out with reasonable effort. Especially when they have an attitude against change and cannot perceive themselves as others around them do.

Continuing to read down that www highexistence page continued to read like overstated exaggerations, so bailed reading any more. No doubt, the usual type of "seekers" will flock to his realm and provide him paying clients.

You know what ran through my mind as I read the article? The guide to all that; was written many years ago. In Commandments 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. His theory is interesting and perhaps will reach people that don't read what I always use as my first research tool. Sure people put a personal spin on things to make a name for themselves, to own it. But I think the basic rule of thumb is covered with a lot less dressing and pompousness.
