Hello, everyone....My name is Ellis and I am 67 years old. I live in north Georgia in a small town near Athens. I was a respiratory therapist for 33 years and have been retired for the past 8 yrs. I am married to my wife, Betty for the past 42 years...we have one daughter, Emily, who is 39 and unmarried. She lives about 30 miles from us. My wife retired about 2 years ago. About a dozen back, my wife's brother and his wife moved up here from Florida and they are our best friends in the area. They live apprx. 22 miles from us. I find I need to develop some more friendships to discuss some of the various aspects and concerns of an aging man.....one that is not handling it too gracefully. I would certainly enjoy some intelligent and insightful conversation.

Hi @elcardee67 - Sometimes we talk like silly and wacky teenagers, but for the most part we are wise and well grounded geezers.
