Ironic move of NFL game.

The playoff game between the L.A. Rams and the Vikings was scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. It was moved to State Farm Stadium in Arizona, due to the fires.. The State Farm Insurance Co dropped the policies of 3,600 L.A. homeowners in July 2024. State Farm claimed it would go out of business with those L.A. policies, but they had enough excess cash to spend on naming a stadium.

Corporations pay for naming rights on these stadiums if they didn't build it.

This is just another foot game. What Los Angeles and others have to think about is do they really want to try and hold the 2028 Olympics. I think they have a Super Bowl coming up in the next few years as well.

Mega events could interfere or take away from the rebuilding of what 10,000 plus homes. Not only will it take money but contractors, supplies, heavy equipment and tie up roads with heavier than normal traffic. I saw this during the first building in Florida around the turn of the century.
