Blue Bloods is my sister's favorite show. Years ago, I started watching with my husband but he'd always fall asleep before the episodes were over. That got to be old, so I started watching alone, then got away from it. He's been gone for nearly 4-1/2 years and I finally watched 4 or 5 episodes a few months ago. I figured since my other procedurals are going on hiatus, I'll start watching again. Over the past 10 days, I've watched 13 episodes and am really into it now.
I like Donnie Wahlberg's character (Danny) a lot. He's tough, sometimes too rough, but has a good heart. He's relentless and very good at what he does. I'm amazed at how well Tom Selleck portrays the mostly somber police commissioner Frank Regan, who I also like a lot. It's so different than his Magnum PI character, which was kind of silly, but not that different from his Jesse Stone character. When Frank does smile, those Tom Selleck dimples get me every time.
I also like the rest of the cast. That goes a long way with deciding whether or not I keep watching shows.
I'm watching via Hulu Plus and have 126 episodes to go. Have you ever watched..do you watch? If so, who are your favorite characters?
