Is anyone on board fluent / conversant in conversational Spanish? Hoping for some help with a small translating project...

I have a project in the works and I just plain don't trust on those online translator websites. Only involves a few short sentences / a half a paragraph or two. Thanks for taking the time to read / offer suggestions... /Seas

FROM Spanish, sure, I can help. You can post it in this thread if you like, so more than one person can contribute.

Or PM me if you prefer.

If you need translation to Spanish, better to have a native speaker (which I am not).

I learned Spanish a few yeas ago, but I am not so hot,
but I have "Google Translate for Android", on my phone
and it is very good, it translates properly, not literally, so
that you can actually hold a conversation, by having two
chosen languages on the screen and speak your own, it
the repeat what you have said in the other chosen tongue,
where I live there are people from all over the world as this
is where they need to come to renew visas etc., I have tested
it with a Rumanian, a Lithuanian and a Bolivian, all three and
myself heard proper language spoken by the App, 4 tongues,
there are many available.

This is a free App, from the Google Play Store, it works in an
Apple iPhone too.

You could study Spanish, try "Butterfly Spanish", on YouTube.

Does it come out with correct grammar?

Does it come out with correct grammar?
Yes it does, at least it did for English, when I tried
it out on the others, they all said that it was very
good, so I have to believe them.

I even sent a Christmas greeting in Japanese, the
recipient asked me where I learned their language,
they couldn't believe that I got it off my phone.

Put the sentences here I'll translate them in about an hour & a half from 2:45 p/m

With all the translation services available, there's little incentive to spend a lot of effort learning a language, if just for short term travel.
I'll be in Mexico for 5 days, I used to be able to hold my own in Spanish, but I probably won't engage the locals in Spanish unless necessary.
My granddaughter will be there, she is 3rd gen Mexican-American and doesn't speak natively, but had been learning. Maybe we could get some practicar conversación en español.

Good to know, Mike. I have friends all over Europe and It would be nice to respond in their language for a change.
