Is anyone using Britbox?

I get a couple of free BritBox channels on my Samsung smart tv.

I’ve been binge watching the twenty five years of Midsomer Murders.

It also has a few other dramatic series from BritBox.

Another thought is to checkout YouTube. One of my favorite British soap operas, Eastenders, is on YouTube.

Keep us posted on your experience with BritBox, I’ve thought about it but it goes against my grain to pay for television programming.

I have not subbed to it for awhile but I enjoyed a few of the shows on the service. I forgot if you used Roku Nathan but if you do and are looking for something new, you might want to give Howdy a try sometime. It is Roku's paid app but it is only $2.99/month for ad free programming. The quality of programming isn't as good as BritBox or other major streaming services but there are a few hidden gems on Howdy.

We signed on to a one year subscription ($76.29 after a AmEx rebate) last December and have enjoyed the 12 months of programming.

We liked Father Brown, I Jack Wright, Karen Pirie, Ludwig, Lynley, Outrageous, Sherwood, Shetland, both Bletchley Circles, Dr Blake Mysteries, Douglas is Cancelled

I think we will sign on to Netflix for the next year.

We got Britbox a while back for under $90 for a one year subscription. We've found a lot of programing that we like. For a few of the shows, I find subtitles for the British-ese impaired to be essential.:ROFLMAO:
